Viewthrough MCP server

Ask Claude how last week went, where the funnel leaks, which cohort pays — straight from your data, in your own words.

One address for every client. The first call opens your browser: sign in, click Allow, done — no key, no secret.

Server address

https://viewthrough.app/mcp

Claude Code

Run in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http viewthrough https://viewthrough.app/mcp

Then: In Claude Code type /mcp → viewthrough → Authenticate. Your browser opens, you allow, done.

For a project team, put it in .mcp.json in the repository instead — everyone signs in once for themselves:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "viewthrough": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://viewthrough.app/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Claude Desktop

  1. Settings → Connectors → “Add custom connector”.
  2. Name “Viewthrough”, paste the server address, leave client ID and secret empty.
  3. “Connect” → browser → “Allow”.

claude.ai

  1. Settings → Connectors → “Add custom connector” (Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise).
  2. Name “Viewthrough”, paste the server address.
  3. “Connect” → “Allow”. Then enable it per chat from the tools menu.

Cursor

Add to Cursor

Or by hand in ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "viewthrough": {
      "url": "https://viewthrough.app/mcp"
    }
  }
}

VS Code

Install in VS Code

Or by hand in .vscode/mcp.json:

{
  "servers": {
    "viewthrough": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://viewthrough.app/mcp"
    }
  }
}

ChatGPT

  1. Settings → Connectors → Advanced → enable Developer mode.
  2. “Create” → name “Viewthrough”, paste the server address, authentication OAuth.
  3. “Create” → browser → “Allow”.

Other clients

Windsurf, Zed, Codex and other clients without Streamable HTTP support use mcp-remote as a bridge:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "viewthrough": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://viewthrough.app/mcp"
      ]
    }
  }
}

What Claude can do then

Read: overview, funnel, cohorts, breakdowns by channel, country and platform, posts, creators, sources. With “Setup” additionally: create creators, generate invites, start pulls and syncs. Never more — neither raw data nor your app's code.

Disconnect any time under Settings → MCP.
